Family Recipes

When Peter and I were engaged, my Aunt Michelle threw us a beautiful bridal shower. Each guest received a recipe card with their invitation and was asked to share a favorite family recipe. Whether they attended the shower or had to send their regrets, they mailed back their handwritten cards for us to add to a family recipe book of our own.

It was such a thoughtful way to help us begin building our life together, and the finished collection has become one of my most treasured wedding gifts.

I’m excited to start cooking my way through these handwritten favorites and sharing them with you along the way. Each recipe comes with a connection to someone we love, and I can’t wait to learn more about the stories, traditions, and memories behind them.
